Miracles for you?

Dear friends,

Miracles for you?  By definition a miracle is, “an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs. “And they took offense at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household.” And He did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief.” Matt. 13:57-58

Notice it doesn’t say He didn’t do any miracles in His hometown – just not many!  The reason given – lack of faith.  My message title this Sunday from Psalm 78 is “Are WE limiting God?”  Notice the emphasis on WE – as Darren spoke last week about the community and unity that WE have in Christ.

Perhaps you are thinking, “Glen God has no limits because Jesus Himself said, ‘Nothing is impossible with God” – so we can’t limit Him who is limitless’ – or can we?

Do you want to know the answer on whether we can “limit God?”  Read Psalm 78 and when you come to verses 40-43, read them from the New King James or the Amplified Bible.  Then you decide?

If indeed Israel limited God, what about those of us at Valley?  Wouldn’t it be a shame, no I would say a tragedy if we limit what our Lord wants to do in us, for us and through us?  It is a question you should think about because it also applies to you personally.  Are you limiting God?

Because power belongs to God,

Glen
