Dear friends,
Is Jesus of Nazareth the Son of God? Christianity stands and fails on this one question! If Jesus is not the Messiah and the Son of the living God, then the implications are devasting! If Jesus is not the promised Messiah, the King of the Jews and God manifested in the flesh then we are:
- Sinners without a Savior
- Aliens and outcasts without hope
- Ignorant of the nature and heart of our Creator
- Imprisoned by our own selfish choices
- Left to live life on our own resources
In the book of John alone, Jesus is:
- The Light of the world
- The Bread of life
- The Way
- The Truth
- The Resurrection and the Life
- The True Vine
- The Door
- The Good Shepherd
This Christmas Sunday we will focus our attention on John 11:25, “Jesus said to her (Martha), “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies.” Take time to read the entire chapter out loud before Sunday.
