Valley Adventure Outfitters
Valley Church invites children to join us on a journey with Jesus. The Christian faith is more than a one-time decision of asking Jesus into one’s heart. It is a lifelong journey of learning to follow Jesus, along difficult roads, through twists and turns, under sunny skies and cloudy skies. We want to train our young people to be disciples of Christ, following hard after Jesus in every circumstance, learning to hear His voice and choosing to obey.
We are Valley Adventure Outfitters, and our purpose is to equip children for this lifelong adventure of faith. Our aim is to help the young disciple in his or her daily adventure of knowing and following God. We exist “so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:17
Sunday Mornings
Our children’s classes are not meeting in person due to the COVID-19 sheltering-in-place orders. Boys and girls ages 2 years through 5th grade are invited to join us live and online for a virtual Sunday School every Sunday morning. If you would like to receive the link to our secure Zoom classroom, contact SiuLin Tay.
Weekly Activities
Wednesdays – AWANA
Our AWANA clubs will meet this fall by Zoom. For more information and to register your child, contact awanaadmin@valleychurch.org
Awana is an international, interdenominational, Bible-centered ministry, which teaches boys and girls the Gospel of Christ and trains them to serve Him. Awana Clubs are brimming with age-appropriate, life-enriching experiences, in which children learn that God is real, that He loves them, and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ.
Children participate in a combination of game time, Bible memorization, and group time.
Thursdays – PETRA/Thursday School – 9:10-11:30 am
September – May
Ages 8 weeks – Ninth Grade
Thursday Children’s Ministries give mothers the opportunity to participate in the Valley Women’s Bible Study while children have fun in a Christian setting, growing in character and learning to relate to others.
Preschool children learn Bible stories, memorize verses, and create art projects. Home-schooled elementary-aged kids participate in structured classes with a central theme. Skills are developed in writing, reporting, arts, crafts, history, culture, language, science, spelling, geography, drama, P.E., and cooking.
