Friday Nights: Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”   Friday nights are a great time to hang out with friends, get to know new friends and grow in your understanding of what it means to Live Out Loud for Jesus. If you are currently in 6th, 7th or 8th grade, we would love for you to visit our middle school group here at Valley Church.  Our Live Out Loud group meets on Friday nights from 7pm until 9pm in the Student Center.  At LOL, you will play exciting games, meet other students (most likely some from your own school!), eat together and hear God’s Word presented  through an interactive lesson.

Sunday Mornings:  On Sunday mornings, we meet in our Life Groups from 9am until 10:15am. The purpose of our Life Groups is to provide a smaller group environment where the students can connect with each other and with their adult mentors on a deeper level.  As Paul says in 1 Timothy  6:11, we want to encourage the students to, “pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.”

We gather together in the Student Center at 9am and play Foosball, Uno, Ping Pong or any other game that helps build our friendships within the groups and then there is a short lesson that introduces the mornings’ topic which is always a subject that invites the students to explore God’s plan for their lives.  Each Life Group consists of 6 – 10 students and is led by 2 of our excellent adult mentors.

Friday Night Worship Band: We strive to honor God with all our heart whether it be through voice or by hands when we meet together on Friday nights at 5pm for Band practice. If you play an instrument, love to sing, enjoy media or controlling the sound board, come check out our Band, “Speak Life” on Friday nights in the Student Center.
