In June we thankfully began holding indoor Sunday morning worship services again. But, as you probably are aware, changes in the COVID regulations continue. As of August 8, 2021, the County of Santa Clara has asked that while indoors, regardless of vaccination status, you wear a mask. Service leaders of indoor religious gatherings may remove their face coverings while actively performing religious services. If they remove their face coverings, service leaders are encouraged to maintain as much distance from others as possible. Service leaders are strongly urged to be fully vaccinated, and to wear their face coverings to the greatest extent possible. Participants in indoor religious gatherings may remove their face coverings for the limited duration necessary to participate in religious rituals. We thank you for your ongoing cooperation as we navigate these changes.
Some are still concerned about the safety of meeting together indoors. We understand and hope you will join us outdoors on the grass at 10:45 am (masks are optional) or online for our livestream services. You can find the livestream of our worship service on our church’s Sunday worship service webpage: http://valleychurch.org/v/sunday-worship-service/

Our challenging days aren’t over, church family! We continue to need to be reminded, “Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:8). Love also more than covers diverse opinions, positions, and even many convictions, on subjects like masking and vaccinating. As Pastors and Elders we’re daily asking God for all of those elements in 1 Peter 3:8 to make good decisions about leading the church. Thank you for praying along with us, and remember, everyone is beloved at Valley Church.
