Baptisms, Myanmar

Dear friends,

I just returned from almost three weeks in Myanmar.  I want to thank you for praying and my trip was incredible!  I will share a little on Sunday and show a few pictures during my sermon intro!

I also want to let you know that we will be having around 12 baptisms second hour.  Some of you who come to first service may want to stop by after your Sunday School class as I know that we are going to run way over our time.

I would encourage you to read Gal. 5:1-15 a couple of times in preparation for Sunday. Gal. 5:1 says:

“So, Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and

don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law”

Few of us would deny that one of the most valued commodities in the world today is freedom! However, living in the land of the free has not made us free.  We are a nation of addicts, fanatics, complainers and grumblers! Jesus said, “He who the Son sets free is free indeed.”  He was talking about a totally different kind of freedom! I hope you can join us this Sunday and why not invite someone who needs the kind of freedom found only in Jesus!

For Jesus’ sake,

Glen
