Steve gives leadership at Valley Church for Discipleship Groups, One-on-One Discipleship ministries and several other ministries in the Growth Point area of ministry.
Steve became a Christian in his late 30s through persistent leadings from the Lord from a number of faithful believers who witnessed to him over many years. His wife, Marion, played a key roll after she came to faith about two years earlier. The Lord won him over through her behavior, purity, and reverence (1 Peter 3:1-2). In September 1981 Steve and Marion, along with their two children, Christopher and Alison, went forward in response to their faith in Christ at the Billy Graham Crusade in San Jose, CA.
While continuing his career in engineering and management in both industry and the Air Force reserve, Steve served in several ministry capacities including Bible Study Fellowship and Western Seminary. He received his Mdiv from Western Seminary in 2000.
