Throughout the Bible we see invitations from God to come to Him and worship.
Psalm 95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!
Matt. 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
As we finish up the book of Hebrews, we find “Through him (Christ) then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. “ This Sunday we will both study and practice this exhortation from chapter 13 verse 15. It’s going to be a special time of celebration and worship of all that Christ our Savior has done for us. Not just coming to earth as a baby, but dying on the cross, rising from the grave, and returning again one day in victory.
Sunday night we’ll gather to personally approach the throne of God through prayer and praise at 6 pm for our Gathering Prayer in the Campus Center. See you there!
In Christ,
Kurt
