What’s your brand? Do you prefer Pete’s coffee over Starbucks? When people think about you, do they immediately think of certain qualities that make you distinctive? Do family members and friends know what they can count on from you? Does your reputation extend beyond those who know you personally?
About 6 weeks ago the Lord woke me up at 3 am and put Gal. 6:17 on my mind, “For I bear on my body the brand marks of Jesus.” Gal. 6:17
I begin to think, “What is the proof of my attachment to Christ? What about your attachment to the Lord Jesus? Should there not be some distinctive marks about our lives that identify us as radical followers of the Lord Jesus?
This Sunday I desire to share with you some “marks” that identify us as “real disciples.” I urge you to read and meditate on Gal. 6:11-18 in preparation!
I returned home from Zimbabwe on Monday and am looking forward to seeing your smiling faces on “Father’s Day!”
