The Hour Has Come!

Dear Friends,

It has been a while since I have written a “weekly” – eight weeks to be exact if my memory serves me correctly. Although my memory is not functioning as I am in partial “brain fog” after traveling for two solid days getting home from Zimbabwe with our Vacation Bible School Team.

Despite all the mix-ups on tickets, a 3-day hospital stay, clinic trips, x rays, bronchitis, ear infection, colds, flu, allergies, broken wrist, cancelled flight, we made it back safe and sound. Thanks for your prayers. We had an A plus team as we had to lift one another up and step in and cover all the bases when a team member or two was down. We had a joyous two weeks with 53 children each week from two of our Transformational Centers. Some of the children had never seen a picture of themselves before. Several children made first time decisions to follow Jesus. Martin Lee took well over 2,000 pictures. Here is one from our first week of VBS camp.

This Sunday we continue our study in John 18:15-27. The 27th verse says, “Peter denied it again, and immediately a rooster crowed.” I guess I could call my message, “The Day the Rooster Crowed!” But it sounds a bit corny even to me.

I do hope that you will read the passage over and I am looking forward to seeing your smiling faces.

Because He has made me glad,
Glen
