Have You Ever Had an Epiphany?

Have you ever had an “epiphany?” The dictionary defines “epiphany” as “a manifestation of a divine or supernatural being.” I think if you did, it would make a profound impact on you! The Biblical accounts paint a picture of people overwhelmed by the beauty, power, radiance, and glory of God. (I know a couple of people who have had one on their journey to faith in Christ!)

Twice in our text for this Sunday (Titus 2:11-14) the Greek word for “epiphany” shows up! “For the grace of God has appeared…”

Over the past several months we’ve explored many Scriptures and many facets of grace. All along our intention has not been simply to understand grace better, but to LIVE it better. The question is not whether we can quote the verses or produce a dictionary definition for grace.

The real question is, “Has the grace of God made such an impact in our lives that we are personally receiving the grace of God AND giving it to others around us?” Is the grace of God continuing to appear through His people? It certainly is God’s plan!

I hope to see you on Sunday and to see His grace radiating from you!

In Christ,
Kurt

P.S. Last Sunday, I encouraged you to put Oct. 4-6 on your calendar for the Valley Church Global Outreach Conference. Look here for schedule updates!
