After 15 months, this Sunday we come to the end of the book of John. And like many good books, this one ends with an “epilogue”. It’s a section at the end of a book or play that serves as a comment on or a conclusion to what has happened. John gives us a great testimony, through the life of one of the disciples, illustrating the great themes of REVELATION and REDEMPTION that have run throughout this entire story. Jesus tenderly guides Peter back to a place of love, security, and commitment after his epic failure of denying the Lord three times.
Have you ever blown it and not quite been able to get over it? I know I have. This message is for us. See you on Sunday!
In Christ alone,
Kurt Jones
P.S. (Did you know that the book of John has a P.S. too?) Some people have said they’d like to get to know some of our newer worship songs better. Here are some links to help out with that!
