I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to this weekend! My friend and ministry partner Dave Carlsen is preaching. Dave was on our Valley Church staff for 10 years before we planted Neighborhood Bible Church in South San Jose 17 years ago and he’s been there ever since! This Sunday we’ll get a report on NBC, but also hear how Dave has lived out our text in our “Extraordinary Hope” series in the book of Hebrews.
“Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters, Do no forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it,” (Hebrews 13:1,2)
Not only have Dave and Becky adopted children from different places in the world, they launched a ministry called “Foster the City” that has touched thousands of children and families with the love of God. Many of you are praying through their prayer guide for the month of May that was handed out last Sunday. I know you’ll be blessed.
