Kurt’s Weekly (Global Outreach Conference Weekend)

Hello again friends,

We’re just a few days away from the start of our 2024 Valley Church Global Outreach Conference. This is a highlight of the year for many of us to celebrate all God is doing around the world and to be challenged to the task remaining. This year we have so many of our global partners coming from around the world, we want to give you the chance to meet them all. Many of them have spent years working in difficult places and can speak into our theme this year, “When Good Seed Falls on Hard Ground” from Luke 8:4-8. We know you probably can’t attend everything, but here is what’s happening.

Friday night October 4th – 7 pm Campus Center
Global partners Chamberlain, Condie, Leary, Jacobsen, and Ekmekji will join our Friday evening small group. 15-min TED Talks, open to everyone. Discussion and fellowship to follow talks.

Brad – “What is the language of Christianity?”
Eddy – “Curiosity and Evangelism”
Paul C – “How Hard Ground Helped Me Rethink Evangelism”
Bernie J – “Local vs. overseas contexts and the challenges of penetrating with the gospel.”
Paul L – “Church Engagement in Global Migration”

Saturday October 5th
