Growth Hour

SUNDAY AM “GROWTH HOUR”

Wherever you are in your spiritual journey, whether you’re new to Valley Church or have been attending for years, please join one of our Sunday morning classes or groups that are designed for deeper connection with God and his family, and growth in Christ-likeness and Christian fruitfulness. Everybody is welcome!

Children’s Classes: In Building 3, 9:30-10:30 am for four years old to 5th grade; Drop off at 9:20 am. Contact Louise Winsor.

Middle School Students: In Student Center, Building 6, 9:30-10:30 am. Contact Tim Knodel.

High School Students: In Activities Center, Building 5, 9:30-10:30 am. Contact John Mack.

Practicing the Way: Location TBD, Sundays, April 27-June 15, 9:30-10:30am. Do you want to go deeper in your relationship with God? Would you like to explore some fresh Scriptural thinking and habits that help with deep change? Are you feeling a little stuck on your journey? Please join Darren and Becky Seitz for “Practicing the Way”. We’ll gather, watch a video, have small group discussions, and walk away with a special practice for each week. At the end of the eight weeks, we’ll each walk into our futures with an adaptable spiritual plan. Contact Darren Seitz.

Explaining Christianity: In Campus Center, Sundays, April 27-June 1, 9:30-10:30am. Who is Jesus? Why do so many people think he’s so important? What is a Christian? What does any of this have to do with me? Do you have unanswered questions like these about Jesus, or do you know someone who needs a place to ask these questions? Join Pastor Craig for six weeks to get a guided tour through the eyewitness account of Jesus’s life from the Gospel of Mark. You don’t need to have any previous knowledge of the Bible. You won’t be asked to read aloud, pray aloud, or answer questions in front of the group. However, you will be given time and space to ask questions, or you can just listen to the questions others may have.

A variety of Life Groups meet from 9:00-10:30 am in various rooms on the church campus. Contact Steve Noble.
