Kierra works with Challenge, which is the discipleship ministry at California Baptist University, in Riverside, CA. Challenge exists to meet students where they are and help them take the next steps in their spiritual journey. Kierra gets to meet with students to establish them in spiritual maturity and to equip them to make disciples. She also facilitate Bible Studies and does administrative work that helps the ministry be efficient and effective. What she loves most about her job is seeing young women fall in love with Jesus and watching him transform their lives.

Harry & Audrey Brown

New Generations

1700 Briarcliff Drive, Nolensville, TN, 37135

After Harry & Audrey served with Cityteam for 45 years, the Board voted unanimously to set apart the church-planting division that Harry led to become a separate organization called New Generations. This separation was completed in 2018. New Generations trains national leaders to launch and sustain Disciple Making Movements.  These ‘movements’ come from a chain-reaction of disciples making disciples that results in a cascade of churches planting churches.  New Generations is involved in 56 countries and 446 Unreached People Groups.  Harry is President of New Generations. Audrey assists in prayer, mentoring, projects, donor relations and hosting guests.

Ryan & Amanda Burleson

The Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM)

138 Paprika Ave, South Africa

The Burlesons live in Pretoria South Africa and partner with others in discipling and raising up African missionaries.  They work with the locals of nearby townships where many people are marginalized and partner with leaders in Zimbabwe and Mozambique to strengthen them in their growth and economic development to advance the gospel. The Burelsons try to bring together like-minded partners to learn from each other to tackle big problems. Pray that the leaders they work with would stay focused and pass on what they are learning to faithful and reliable people, and that African missionaries would be bold as they confront lies that impede gospel transformation in their communities.  Pray for the Burleson’s daughter Mercy as she battles hearing loss.  Pray for their organization to make shifts necessary to play empowering roles and to more effectively mobilize African leaders.

Paige Drake serves at Black Forest Academy (BFA), an Christian missions school aimed at serving missionary families through the care and education of their children. With many missionaries serving in remote areas of the globe, BFA aims to provide an opportunity for their students to get an education that earns them an American diploma while allowing them opportunities with peers to grow spiritually and relationally. Paige serves BFA as a high school Guidance Counselor; for this, she has 60+ student advisees with whom she walks throughout their time at BFA, checking on them, being a listening ear, etc. The fact that the student body represents 50+ countries and cultures, Paige loves hearing each students’ individual story and supporting them as they continue to grow while also partnering with their families in missions around the globe.

ED will be ministering to a majority Muslim people group in South East Asia where less than 0.04% follow Jesus. Our desire as a team is to be the presence of Jesus and bring the message of Jesus with the purpose of developing healthy families of faith that initiate Disciple Making Movements. ED will primarily be tutoring and teaching continuing education to university students from under resourced cultural minority backgrounds. By supporting these communities in addressing some of their unmet needs we’re able to cultivate deep friendships through which we can share the redemptive and salvific power that is only found in Jesus. Please pray that God would reveal himself to the people here as they seek for hope and truth. Email info@valleychurch for more information.

Paul & Cyndi Peck

Missionary Gospel Fellowship

9500 Highway 324, Dillon, MT 59725-9707

Paul and Cyndi have been serving in rural Montana since 1985.  Paul is the pastor of Prairie Bible Church, and Cyndi has an adoption ministry. Most extremely rural churches have a difficult time surviving because it is almost impossible for them to hire  a pastor, and also living in rural Montana is not something that many pastors are willing to do.  Over the past 35 years Paul and Cyndi have become an integral part of the community, taking part in city planning meetings and helping with jail chaplaincy. Paul was an EMT for a number of years, and they had their church organize a ministry in Ethiopia assisting in training rural pastors.  When an adopted child is not working out in the new home, the family contacts Cyndi’s “Second Chance” program and Cyndi, with their daughter, Christi, and a social worker find a new willing family to do a secondary adoption of that child and help with the new adoption process.  Cyndi has been a speaker twice at the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys’ annual convention.  The Pecks are very thankful to the Lord for Valley Church’s 34 years of support.

There they seek to build friendships with nationals as well as encourage transformation and the building up of each one’s community. The Penneys are also leading a teacher training program for a school in Mauritania. Pray that their efforts will establish deep relationships, strengthen the skills of local teachers, and provide opportunities for nationals to begin their journey with the Lord.

They are fluent in the trade language and have settled into ministry as Supply Buyers in the town of Wewak for their missionaries in the bush locations of the Sepik region. The Lord allows them to be a part of church planting by buying and shipping needed supplies for the 14 missionary families serving in 5 remote locations all in different stages of the ministry.  This past year the Pei and Amdu people groups heard the Gospel in their own language for the first time in history! Please pray for the Maliyali people as they will be hearing the Gospel in early 2021! Thank you Valley Church for your part in this ministry through your giving and prayers.
