Cries of the Heart: Psalms for Summer

Remeet the Psalms this summer. They’re the most frequently read part of the Bible and for good reason. They give us words to speak to God — words he loves to hear. They’re right in the middle of the Bible and so wherever we are in the text, they’re close at hand, just like God himself.

The Psalms teach about life, that it’s often beautiful, because God made it. The Psalms teach about prayer, that it must be bold when life seems less than beautiful. Finally, the Psalms teach about God, that he’s able to restore the beauty in response to our bold speech. Come learn about life, prayer and God this summer in his “Wonderful One Hundred And Fifty.”
