What’s this about? Together, we’ll renovate a unit in the Grace Village Apartment in San Jose.
What’s the background of the project? In April of 2021, our ministry partner CityTeam purchased a 50-unit apartment complex in San Jose. Their vision is to renovate and refurbish each unit so as to provide housing for women and children. Many of these women have been abused and need safe housing until they can get back on their feet. When would we do the renovation? The renovation started in 2022 and will continue until the job is done.
What kind of servant-leaders? We need people who like to get dirty and carry things around. We also need people with some basic skills with tools. CityTeam provides the tools but we can also bring out own. We need people to bring lunch and drivers (parking is limited).
Why get involved? To show the love of Jesus the Saving King to our hurting neighbors.
